WarioWare Touched and WarioWare Smooth Moves are also really good. But those require touch and motion controls. Which you might think kills the game, but for a game about back to back mini games it's a lot of fun. There's also one on Gamecube but I think it's the same as GBA. EDIT: The gamecube version is inferior.

I've played Rondo, CV 4, CV1 and all of the DS games and symphony of the night. CV1 was cheap and has cheat mechanics. I think Super CV 4 is way better and strikes the perfect balance of fairness not to mention its creative use of scaling and its amazing music track. All the other Castlevania games have been easier since this one(Symphony, all the DS games because of grinding). Rondo is harder and better but not by much IMO! Just remember when judging this game that its only easy cause we've played it a bunch.

This is still hands down the best simpsons game. It's funny it came out in 2003 which is ironically right where simpsons was out of it's prime. Or about to be. Like I would say season 1 to 10 was great. So by 1999 is was on the decline but still watchable. It was still watchable till season 15. Basically anything post season 20. Don't even waste your time. I did come back to watch the simpsons movie and this was years after I stopped watching the TV show.

The person suggesting there is a frame rate problem. Sorry, never had that with the NES or on emulators.

I just purchased Galacticon on Steam to do my part and see if I can get into these types of games, and it is inexpensive. After watching for seven and a half hours, I think I'm sold on trying to get up into the ranks one day. I also purchased Dome Keeper on Gog last month, however it doesn't run from the installation, I'm going to try to play it on Gog Galaxy next. I may be offered a refund, but I'd rather archive and play that game. Maybe, I need to buy another computer to play some of these games, even though mine exceeds these 2022 game specs. I'm waiting on Gog to get back to me with tech support. I can't wait to try this game for myself. JLD will be my initials if I ever make it on the boards.

Lots of shmups were just like this. Throwing weapon capsules at you in numbers and many times you have to dodge them harder than enemy bullets to avoid getting something you don't need. That is why Gradius and R-Type were all the rage back in the old days. Shmups with a system you can learn and use. It is a tragedy both franchises don't exist anymore. Also Konami's Parodius series as a home parody to their Gradius and Twinbee franchises was great.

Mike I have never lied to you. The remastered version of Zelda2 has new dungeons and new mechanics. It also has a new overmap and new items. And the best was it had a second quest. It was sooooo worth playing. I get the music deal but I promise you that you should play it off stream then. It was truly a love letter to all zelda2 fans. I hope you don't discard my comment.

You have to use b to throw flash bangs at the enemies and stop them firing for a few seconds. There is not enough health to make it through from taking damage often. It stun locks them if it goes off near them, During stun lock they flash white can’t move or shoot for a few seconds

Interesting idea for a challenge: 2 player mode with 1 controller. Not sure if you can do it on real hardware or Mister, but definitely on emulator. Assign your controller to both player slots and try to beat a game without losing either player. The harder the better.

For me it goes something like 2, 9, 3, 10, 8, 1, and the rest I don’t care too much about. Just for reference I haven’t beaten 4-7 so I can’t really speak on how good they are but from what I played they’re all pretty fun. I was really surprised by how good 8 was because people often say it’s the worst one but I had a blast playing it on a sega Saturn emulator (the cutscenes are also pretty funny) Is 11 any good? Haven’t played that one yet but I never really heard any die hard fans opinions on it
